Word & Excel close down message and normal.dot problems

I have a new portable computer (HP Pavilion dv3) with Windows Vista Home
Premium, and have serious problems with Word and Excel.

When I close the Office programs Word and Excel I almost always receive a
number of error messages (translated from Swedish).

1: "Microsoft Office Word has stopped working
A problem caused the program to work incorrectly. The program closes and you
will get a message if there is a solution available".

2: If I do not stop the closing of the program I get a question regarding if
I want to save changes in the normal.dot file when I open the program (Word)
next time.

3: If I close Word several times, with different combinations of saving /
not saving the normal.dot file, the following message comes:

"The file ~WRC0003.tmp [or other WR+number combination] has an irreparable
disc error.
The disc has an error that makes it unusable.
Try the following:
*Format another disc.
*Save the document on another disc".

I have run the Office repair function, re-installet the Office Pro-package,
repeatedly removed the normal.dot file, tested the hard drive (no disc errors
revealed), un-installed the Office 2007 package that was pre-installed on the
computer. The same Office package that I have on my portable computer works
on my stationary computer, with same operative system.
I do not know what more to try. I hope that there is someone who can help me
with this!
