Word, Excel, etc. states file format is invalid.

Bryan

I recently switched from Windows XP back to Windows 2000.
My documents were created in Office 2000 Professional.
Now that I switched back, I can't see any of my documents
except in some kind of code. I even pulled up a document
created in 2001 and it still gives the same thing: File
format invalid, or file could be corrupt.

I have many Word and Excel docs that are really important
to me. Any word on what I can do to see my documents
again? I sent a document to someone who is running XP to
see if that in fact could be the problem.

Your timely help is greatly appreciated.

Bryan
