Word/Excel merge displays 'unrounded' calculated values. HELP

Using XP office and machine causes calculated average values to be displayed
to at least 8 d.p. on the merged document despite truncating the values on
excel. There is not a problem when I use a 98 machine.

Many thanks for this. I have searched for this solution
high and low over the past months!
