Word/excell 2000 on windows2000 very slow open/save as.. file

I got windows2000 which is updated with all the latest fix, and office 2000
which also I updated.

When I use word or excell and do a save as.. or open file, it takes 30
seconds before the popup dialogboks gives me access to the filesystem to
open a file or save one.

This only happends in software word/excell and wordpad or explorer are not
slow.
I have update the hole system which run on a PIII 800 mhz with 512 MB ram.
The harddisk has 85 % free space.
I have defraged the harddisk, run adware and fsecure scanned to remove virus
and spywware. I have deleted all files in the temp directory for the local
user. I have run diskcleaning tool in windows 2000. I have disabled the
automatic journal in outlook.
This must be som kind of bug in word/excell since everting else is running
smooth? Nothing seems to change slow behavior. Any idea, solution to this?

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop,
left-click on Disconnect Network Drive, and disconnect any mapped
network drives that are not currently available.
