word.exe error on start-up

Does anyone know why (and how to fix) Word.exe error and
closes, every time it is opened?
I've re-installed (2 times), it works alright for a couple
of days, then error's out again.
Sounds to me like a virus!!
My Great Norton Virus "protection", is'nt worth the money
spent, because nobody can be contacted, and
the "community" knowlege-base takes too darn much time to
use.

I for one, will not but MS again!
No help from them.

It's a shame...
You but a product, and can't get any help... unless you
pay for help!

Hi,if you think this is virus problem then run update of your virus
program,then scan pc for virus.It might also be spyware.Download these
programs and scan:

If none of the abow helps try this:
search for normal.dot on your pc end delete them all.Restart word and se if
it helps.
normal.dot file are only settings files for your word.
