When I have two Word 2003 documents open at the same time, with each one
represented by its own entry on the Windows program bar (bottom of screen),
when I click the non-open document to switch to it, instead word
exits/closes. I need to re-open Word each time and then either open the
auto-saved versions or open deliberately saved versions of both documents.
This is quite irritating and wastes time. How do I keep Word (or Windows)
from doing this? I have run Detect and Repair and it neither Detects nor
Repairs. When I do this operation in the computer classes I teach, the
problem does not occur.
Thanks.
