Word failed to launch in asfe mode

Hi

having problems with word, it won't open at all. i get the above error.

I've tried:

delting normal.dot
Doign a repair
re-installing office

can anyone advise

Which Safe Mode? Windows Safe Mode or Word Safe Mode?

i presume word safe mode as the error comes up when i try to launch word.

In order to start Word in Office Safe Mode, you must press Ctrl while it is
starting.
