Word file bloat

Hi,

I have a word doc that went from 2MB to 22MB after I added a lot of
hyperlinks. I still have 3/4 of the file to build so it will be over
100MB and too large for emailing.

Do you think the hyperlinks are causing this bloating? And if so, is
there anything I can do to reduce the file size.

If not, any other suggestions would be great. I know it's not images
because there wasn't any at the time of the size increase. There is a
table of contents and a few small tables and lots of outlines.

Hi,

I solved the problem by selecting all and copying to a new document.
It seems that the file was corrupt. I was just a coincidence that it
happened at the same time that I added all the hyperlinks.
