word file letter prints current date only

I want my letters in Word Document files to show date they were written and
when I print I want the original date to show on letter and word file. how
can I do this?

You need to insert a CreateDate field. If the document currently has a Date
field (as seems likely), use Alt+F9 to toggle the field code, edit it,
toggle back, and update with F9. If the document is based on a template
containing the date, change that to CreateDate as well. For more, see
