Word file Prints with huge lower border

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have a 200 page document ready to be shipped to print. Although "Letter" is selected in Page layout, the display seems to be A4 and the .pdf has large right(extra 2") and bottom margins(extra 2"). This is an international project, so multiple files have been combined. Have updated all printer drivers and tried different printers. Not sure what to do next.

It sound like you've been using Track Changes and/or Comments in the
document which have not yet been resolved/removed. Additionally, you have
the Preference set to display Comments in balloons.

Turn Track Changes off, Accept or Reject all changes, and delete the
Comments. Alternatively, you can turn off the Comment balloons or you can
select Final without Markup from the Reviewing toolbar, but the Comments &
markup will remain in the document.

Additional to what Bob said (and do that first...) you need to check in each
Section of the document to ensure that the paper size is set to Letter. The
paper size is a Section property.

However, I think it is more likely that you still have unresolved tracked
changes in the document, and Word leaves a wide right margin to show them to
you.

Obviously the embarrassment from sending unresolved tracked changes to print
can be career-terminal, so I am sure you will give that due attention :)

Cheers
