Word file-save-as unavailable

I have just loaded Office 2003 - final, and have a weird
problem - the File-Save-As option in Word is not
avaialable, instead the File-Open option is displayed. But
I can save my work by attaching it to an email, and then
dragging it into a folder.
All other progs are working, this problem is just in Word.
The problem did not appear while I was using the Beta.

I saw something about a similar problem in Word XP but
cannot find the reference. I need to fix this in a hurry,
got articles to meet deadlines!!!

Using 2gb Intel processor, 1gb ram, XP prof.

Any help very welcome

What exactly do you mean by "is not available"? Does the Save As command not
appear on the File menu? Or, when you click on Save As, does it open the
Open dialog? If the latter, look in Tools | Macro | Macros for a macro named
FileSaveAs and delete it. If the former, you may have adaptive menus enabled
(they probably are by default in a new install), or you may have
inadvertently deleted the command. There are several ways to restore it.
Post back with a more precise description of the problem.
