Word Files to Press II

In reference to the response from Microsoft to my prior
posting titled Sending Word Files to Press, we are an
inhouse graphics department with an inhouse printing
facility. We have high end graphics software for page
layout and have the latest full version of Acrobat. We
chose to go to press from Word so that our clients can use
our e-files if needed. Our printing facility has a full
service prepress dept and presses. Unfortunately, our
prepress dept cannot use a pdf from Word because of image
color management problems in the Adobe print drivers. Are
you saying that there is no way to image a color Word file
to film?

You might want to try asking this in microsoft.public.word.drawing.graphics
or microsoft.public.word.printing fonts. But note that you are unlikely to
get an answer from *Microsoft* here (or anywhere else without paying for
it). We're all just volunteer peer users here.
