Word fix if get error message "insufficient memory or disk space", etc.

Suddenly my MS Word 2000 wouldn't load. Each time I tried
it would freeze. I did this and it worked in about one
minute: (I had tried EVERYTHING ELSE!!)
It might be a bad Normal.dot template in your profile. Do
a search for Normal.dot and delete them. When you start
word again it will regenerate a new Normal.dot.

We generally advise renaming Normal.dot rather than deleting it, since this
allows users to retrieve at least some of their customizations using the
Organizer.
