Word font color keyboard shortcut

I'm requesting that a keyboard shortcut for applying the currently selected
font color be designed into Word. I suggest Alt+C. It's very easy to
highlight the desired text with the mouse in the right hand, and use two left
hand fingers to apply the font color by shortcut.

And you are requesting this of whom?

I do not even understand what you are requesting.

"for applying the currently selected font color " to...the current selected
text?

"It's very easy to highlight the desired text with the mouse in the right
hand, and use two left hand fingers to apply the font color by shortcut."

Indeed, it is very easy, as the it would apply the current selected font
color...to the current selected text. I.e. it would apply what IS there, to
what is there.

I do not get it. As for applying the current format to OTHER text you select,
this ability has been around for a long time with FormatPainter.

I think it is obvious what the suggestion was. I, too, want the function he
describes and I'm very perplexed that it doesn't at the moment seem possible.
It's a simple concept and I can't believe these small macros are not possible
to implement either as a feature or as a customizable macro.

They really need to make this possible. I think it's absurd that it's not
possible.

The function is already built into the application and, as ALT+C is not
already assigned by default, you can assign it to the command FontColor
which you will find in the all commands group. It applies the currently
selected font colour to the selected text.
