I have attempted to simply multiply 2 cells in a simple table using :
{ = PRODUCT (text1,text2) }
and it just doesn't work.
Can't find what Calculate on text, entry or Exit mean...
Cn someone point me to a tutorial that exlains ow you can make a form with
simple math function work?

The expression doesn't understand your reference to "text1", etc. - you have
to use an expression such as Left or Above for the reference of "imagine"
column headings (a,b,c,d) & row headings (1,2,3,4) just as in a
spreadsheet. Your Formula would read:

=PRODUCT(a3,b2) or =PRODUCT(Left)

You could also Insert an Excel spreadsheet object instead.

PS - That should read as " or imagine", not "of imagine".

Thanks for your response.
The problem, as your example showed, is that I didn't realize that the pair
of braces {} wee just to indocat what need to go into the expression.
Also since it was deep into a page form I just gave each reference a
"bookmark" like "usqty" and "usprice". It did understand bookmarks - I
figured it out using the given bookmark "Text1" etc That worked wonders.
Thanks for the effort!
