Word for Mac, Hebrew text

Hi,
I have just signed into this group with hope somebody might help. When
I write Hebrew in Word doc on Mac, after I save or delete a letter all
the letters and words get mixed and replaced. I would appreciate any
piece of advise, what to do to have the document saved and reopened in
an original form.

Hi Joanna,

Basically, Word Mac does not do right to left, so I am surprised you
have gotten even as far as you did. You might google for Mellel
(developed in Israel, I believe), or for Nisus Writer, as alternative
programs. I forget whether the free NeoOffice handles Hebrew.

I know that you also posted in the Mac group, but that is a better place
for Mac questions. Not sure if you have this handy link to take you
directly to the Mac-specific groups.
