There must be an easy way to "tile" multiple documents that are opened, so I can easily navigate between them. Any help out there?

Window> Arrange All is about as close as it comes in any given program - it
may or may not produce the result you want depending on starting window
sizes - especially if there are more than2 document windows involved.

However you may want to take a close look at the OS X feature by the name of
Exposé. Although Office 2008 isn't compatible with its counterpart - Spaces
- Exposé can be quite helpful once you understand its capabilities.

Also in addition to Elliott's Cmd+~ which cycles through document windows
within the same application you can use Cmd+Tab to cycle through open
application windows.
