when designing a word form witha drop down menu can you type in your response
for field or do you have to use the drop down answers. How can you do this so
the drop down answers are general but sometimes you need to type an answer
not provided in the dropdown
thanks JE

A dropdown form field permits only the listed answers. To make it
"fillin-enabled," you have to use a "combo box," which is an ActiveX
control, and these controls are not really compatible with protected forms.
What you could do is include a "None of the above" choice in the dropdown
and then have a separate text form field for users to write in an
alternative information.
