Word formatting palette disappeared

In my Microsoft Office 2004 Word document, my formatting palette has
disappeared to the buttom of my screen and I cannot drag it up, so
that I can see and use it. How do I place it in the middle of my
screen, next to the word document, so that it's accessible? (The
formatting palette also does NOT appear in "View").

Please explain clearly since I'm a "newbie" with trouble shooting
errors.

Hi,

try setting your screen to a lower resolution and then switching back to
your default resolution. If that does not solve your problem, follow the
steps mentioned on this page:
