Word freezes briefly during AutoText entry

I have a user that is having a problem with AutoText. Upon typing certain
entries (havn't found a trend yet), he'll get halfway through the word or
phrase and he'll hit ENTER to complete the string, but Word freezes for about
10 seconds and the string does not complete. It is Word 2003 SP2.
