Word freezes during save and save as

Hi there all,
I am having a problem with Word 2002. Recently it has begun to freeze
completely whenever I try to save or save as. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled but it continues to freeze. Any ideas on why this is happening
and how to fix it? Any help would be great

Re-installing rarely achieves anything useful as the problems are rarely
associated with the core program. See
