Do you have latest Word updates installed? Have you recently installed
anything?

I installed Office:mac 2004 about 2 weeks ago and have not had any
trouble until an hour ago.

Is it document specific or does it happens oall the time regardless which
document you open? If happens on any document try the two followngs:

Try to run repair disk permition from disk utility.

Do you have Mac 11.3.2 update? Download here:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/downl
oad/Office2004/Office2004_1132.xml

If it's just document specific, then the trouble will be in the documment
which will be corrumpted.

It appears to be document specific. I am not sure whether I have the
update, how do I find out?

Hello Benz -

I am not sure whether I have the
update, how do I find out?

If you just installed it the odds are that you *don't* have the update... I
doubt that there are any retail packges shipping thte 11.3 build, and if
your package is older than that you definitely don't have the update. If
curious open the Word Menu in Word, Select 'About Word' & your version will
be staring you straight in the eye :)

Then go to:

Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.0 Update

and follow the instructions there.

You might also want to investigate the AutoUpdate feature (Help Menu) & set
it so it will keep you alerted to any future Office Updates as long as you
have an active internet connection.

Have you been using graphics, tables or any other "funny" stuff?
