Word freezes

Hi-
I'm running WinXP ProSP1, and when I use MS Word2002, I
get freezes every so often when I try to:
Print
Insert Symbols
Format-->Font
Save
Etc.

Stopping and restarting the Print Spooler seems to fix
it. Any ideas on WHY this is happening? Any help would
be appreciated.

Hi Matt,

Since Word obtains a valid font list from the printer driver it could
be a sign of a corrupt or incorrect printer driver. Try obtaining an
updated driver from the manufacturer's web site and see if that
corrects the problem.
