word generates too many rubbish files

E

evan

When I operate on a word file, a lot of tmp files such as ~WRL0565.tmp,
~WRL0212.tmp are generated automatically and fastly. I feel they are very
disgusting since within half an hour, more than 20 of such files will be
generated.

I tried repairing and reinstalling. But the problem can not be fixed. Does
anyone know how to fix it? Please help me out.

Thanks!

These are normal. You will not be aware of them unless you are displaying
"All Files" in Word's file operation dialogs. When they accumulate to a
point that bothers you, close and reopen the document, which will cause them
to be deleted.
