Running Word 2000 on Win XP.
Just recently when I try to load Word it hangs and Task Manager shows 100%
CPU. I do not have any problem with Excel 2000 or PPT 2000. I also have
Outlook 2003 on my PC. Steps taken to date:
1. Run winword.exe /a from the Start Menu - the app loads fine.
2. Rename normal.dot to normal.old. Didn't make a difference.
3. Look in Startup folders for Word and Office. Nothing there.
4. Remove data key from registry. Didn't make a difference.
5. Rename option key in registry. Didn't make a difference.
6. Login as different user on my PC and try loading Word. Didn't make a
difference.
7. Reinstall Word. Didn't make a difference.
Any suggestions?
