Word hands (shows eggtimer) every few seconds. ?

A user on the network is experiencing the same problem,
word 2003 constantly displays the hour glass. The user is
running WIN XP PRO, Office 2003. I have yet to install
WIN XP SP2 on this workstation. I have tried
reinstalling, repairing with no luck. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem running office XP on Win XP

I have also tried everything. We have had this before and
resorted to re buliding the m/c.

HELP!

I have solved the problem on my m/c.
I run win XP Po & Office XP with a Novell Client.
I also run Novell IPrint

I deleted the I Print Client and just used NDPS and the
problem went away!!

I have also re installed the Novell Client for good measure
