Word hang-up

Running OfficePro 2003 on an XP SP2 system. Word often (more often than not)
hangs-up after opening. When prompted to "send error report", points to the
temp file that Word tries to write to. When I search for this temp file, I
am unable to locate it - both manually and using "search for files".
