Hi,
Word is hanging when sending a document using Send To, Mail Recipient. The
document is not protected. Sometimes a message appears that says "A dialog
box is open in Outlook. Close the dialog box and try again." But there is
no Outlook dialog box. Other times, word just crashes with a winword error.
I found this KB article

not a protected form. I had the user turn off the "Check spelling before
sending" option in Outlook and the document sends without hanging. So I do
believe it is related to this KB article.
When I have the user send a form that IS protected, they get an Outlook
message that says "The spelling check was stopped before it finished. Do you
want to send anyway?" I'm wondering if this is the Outlook dialog box the PC
thinks it is showing, but it doesn't appear on the screen.
I did get the fix mentioned in the KB article, but we are running SP-3 and
the fix won't install because we have a later version of winword.exe and the
other two files than this fix contains.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
