Word Hangs when pasting

When I copy information from a web page on the internet
for example, I paste it into a word document the
application hangs with the little hour glass and
eventually stops responding. However, if I paste the
same data into power point, it works fine. I've done
this all the time with previous versions of word and
never had this problem.

Everyone seems to have noticed this with Word 2002; it seems to have to
"think" about it a little longer. If the delay really bothers/alarms you,
try using Paste Special as Unformatted Text instead.
