Your issue is *not* the same as that in the other message. This is simply a
matter of Text Wrapping. In Line images are the only ones hat display in
Draft/Normal view. Floating images - those with some form of text wrapping
applied - do not display in anything other than Print Layout View. This,
however, is no different that in 2004 & most earlier versions. The only
thing that's different is that the default in 2004 [I believe] is set to In
Line whereas the default in 2008 is Square. That can be changed in Word>
Preferences - Edit [Insert/paste pictures as:].
FYI: Even if your issue were identical there's nothing to be gained by
posting a "me too" reply. Just try the posted solutions when they appear. If
the issue isn't identical and/or those solutions don't work for you there
must be something *different* about your situation in which case it calls
for a NEW message rather than a REPLY to another. Your version info for OS X
& Office need to be included as well - that can make a lot of difference.
