"Word has a problem and must close" - Printer problem???

J

JH513

I get a simular message from Excel / Access / Outlook and wether I "tell
microsoft" or not it makes no difference. I have downloaded every available
update to Office and still the problem occurs about every 2nd or 3rd time I
use the application.

Any suggestions welcomed!

If you have Norton AV, turn off the Office Plug-In.
See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm for more ideas.

Telling Microsoft does nothing that changes your computer. It lets them know
what problems people in general are having so that they can build the next
generation of software to address those problems. It sometimes helps them
write an update or patch, but nothing gets sent back directly to you to fix
the reported problem.
