Word in Office X for Mac won't start-not enough memory???

S

Stu

Out of the blue, I can no longer get into Word on my Mac. After
several 'bounces' in the dock, I get this: 'There is not enough memory
or disc space to run Word.'

Can anyone help me?

Hi Stu:

Disk Permissions. Almost certainly.

"Not enough memory or disk space" is a generic error message which means
"Word cannot open or create one of the temporary files it wants to use".

1) Reboot your machine (Unix does all manner of house-keeping on startup)

2) Run Disk Utility and Repair Permissions.

That "might" fix it.

Hope this helps
