word installation

I keep trying to open my word standard edition 2003, but
each time it asks me to put in a microsoft word standard
edition 2003 cd but I didn't get one with my computer. I
can't even get it to open or type anything.

If Word came installed on your computer, the vendor should have provided the
media. Did you perhaps get it as part of Works Suite? If so, that's the CD
you need.
