Word "Insufficient memory"

When copying a two page web file into word I now get
an "Insufficient Memory" message.

I have at least 10 gig of disk space and 1 gig of ram.

There were no programs running in the background.

Word gives this error message for a wide and indeterminate range of problems
most of which have nothing to do with memory. In this case it probably means
there's something in the content of the web pages that Word doesn't know how
to deal with. Try copying the file one page at a time (or even less) and you
might be able to work around the bit that causing the problem; or select the
source pages, copy, and try the various Paste Special options. Text-only, at
least, should work.
