Word is crashing unexpectedly

Someone, please help me! I've installed the latest updates for Word v
X and I'm running in the latest version of Jaguar on a G5 (dual). I
am experiencing "word has unexpectedly quit" after I work with a
document for a while. I suspect the document size might be an issue,
but I can't be sure--the size of the last document I was working with
was only 300 odd k. I've deleted the normal template and repaired
permissions. I am not running any wierd software. What else can I do?

I'm experiencing almost the same problem except my word crashes as
I'm launching the app. My word problem began when I installed the
updates.
