Word is "Locked"

I am using a temporary version of MS Office 2007 Prof. and the tech. just
downloaded my activation key. Now when I open Word and try to type, nothing
happens and I get a message that that option is LOCKED! Help!

Temporary version, do you mean a trial version?
Have you Activated Office?

this is the same as me, i have activated the office, using the serial key too
