Word is opening slowly after installing SP2 for XP

Well I waited and waited to install SP2. Wish I waited some more. Word 2003
takes 20 seconds to open now (once open other documents open at normal speed).

I have renamed the word director in the registry, there is nothing in my
start up file and I cannot find any other help!
