Word is setup as the default Oulook editor but it does not work

I follow the Outllok help instructions and they do not work on this PC. It
is a new PC with Outlook 2003 as a trial. I haqve Outlook 2002 installed and
it does not tions under INternet Explorer to set up Word but work thre
either. I also checked the option under Internet Explorer but that does not
work either.

you need to use the same version of outlook and word to use it as the
editor.

what do you have configured in IE? you don't set the editor there.
