Word Issue with Text

Hi Guys,

I having a mad issue that really don't know what it is.

This is happening at 2 Clients that I manage, 1 Client has 2 Workstations 1
with Office 2000 the other with Office 2003.

Whats happening is sometimes when they open a document and save that
document, as soon as they click file and the on print all the Word text got
to the far left of the document and ovals each letter so would look like this;

a
s
d
f
g
h
j
k
l

but imagine you wrote the word (question) for example what it would look
like is q, underneath that u, underneath that e and so on.

I could understand if this was on 1 machine, but this is happening to 2
different clients. has anyone got any ideas?

One clients network is as follows;
Windows 2000 Server, 10/100 Network, 8 Workstations, 1 Laptop, 1 Network
Printer.
The Other one is;
Windows 2003 SBS, 10/100 Network, 3 workstations, 1 Network Printer.

Any help or advise would be grateful.

Regards
Greg Remer

This is a printer driver issue. It can temporarily be resolved by closing
Word and reopening it. Make sure that they have the latest printer drivers
and then delete and reinstall the printers. Presuming that eh network
printers are set as the default Windows Printer, make sure that Word can see
them all the time. Sometimes this is caused by a poorly written print macro
that switched the print driver to something else (such as a PDF writer or
fax driver) and then doesn't switch the active printer back to the default
printer.
