Word just quits/closes/shutsdown

NOTE: This is not the problem with the Handwriting Input issue. I don't have
it installed under Languages and it is not installed with the Office 2003
application

My problem occurs with one document open. It appears to only occur with
multi-language documents. After it closes Word may start again by itself, but
wheather it does or not the recovery window always displays.

I've been hampered by this for several days now. I've search this newsgroup
bu the problem and solutions I seen are for multiple documents opened and the
problem with the Handwriting imputu feature
in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=555169 "WD: Word Quits
Unexpectedly When Selecting a Document from the Windows Taskbar".

please, can anyone help me?

It appears to shut down a few seconds after edit something.
If I just open the file, sometimes it shuts down sometimes it doesn't.
I can save my changes with no problem if I do so before it closes. Saving
doesn't seem to cause it to shut down in and of itself.

I deleted temporary files (several times). I've followed the suggestions
from Graham Mayor's page. He even look at one of the files that's shutting
word down, but found no problems with it. See the thread "Word document
repair utility."

It is happening only on files that have Arabic and Indonesian text together.

thanks for taking the time.

Well there must be a good chance that it is a language conflict. I've no
experience with this and you may be better off posting this problem to
microsoft.public.word.international.features for help.

Try repairing proofing tools by going to the control panel and selecting
Microsoft Office 2003 proofing tools -> Change/Remove->Reinstall or
Repair->Detect and Repair Errors in my Office proofing tools
installation->Install.
