Word just stop opening my files

For some reason word stoped opening recent files and saving new files,
I'm new at being a Mac user and in the past 3 months never had a
problem.

Help is much needed. Thanx so much

Wow. That is definitely not enough information for anyone to have a clue
what may be going on. Version number? What does "stopped" mean? What sort
of error messages do you get?

However, don't bother to answer. Consistent and reproducible problems in
Word usually respond to one of the standard troubleshooting measures, which
you will find listed here:

(hit refresh a few times in Safari, or use a different browser)

If nothing listed there works, post back with more info.
