Word keeps crashing when I use it as my email editer

Hi, I need some help extremely bad, as I live out of outlook and word for
business. The past few weeks have been aggravating to say the least. One of
the recent updates is the reason for my current issues I am quiet positive.
Normally I have just kept using the system restore feature and it fixed my
problem until i re-booted again. What is happening is when I try composing an
email in MS Word, it will crash within a few moments of having the document
open. Since I upgrade my Norton, I cannot use the system restore now as it
keeps saying MS failed to restore your last settings.
I am wondering what I can do to get my office to start working again. This
is VERY frustrating to say the least. One thing to note, when I try creating
a document in word, it is fine, just when using it as the email editor. It
has worked for th epast 2 years, but has been having issues recently.

I was thinking that, but since my system restore won't let me restore to any
of the previous dates, I don't know how to uninstall the most recent updates.
Does anyone know how to do that?
Why would the system restore stop being able to restore to previous dates? I
have tried literally 20 different restore locations, and none of them work
now? Lets just say this is the most annoying problem in the world considering
this is my work computer. I've learned to never trust the MS updates, and
unfortunately my gf changed my update settings on me without me knowing it
cause she said that Norton recommended she put it on always update and
install. I've learned my lesson from letting her use my computer for anything
as well.

i have the similar issue with my bosses' pc. A week ago I installed MS
updates with some new driver. Once restarted, all computers in the
office crashed. How much fun was being kicked by everyone in the
office :) I still enjoy it. MS does really sloppy job recently.

How did you fix it? Like i mentioned, my system restore stopped being able to
restore me to a earlier time this last time, up until now I was always able
to use the restore feature to recover and try again. Now I'm stuck with these
and don't know how to fix it.
