Word keeps crashing!

Hi

Word keeps crashing on me (or hanging). It's normally
when I have a small number of Word docs open plus a draft
Outlook email open (using Word for email. It's happeing
almost every day now and as I work in Word all day it's a
real problem. Any ideas for how I can tackle it?

This may just be a simple case of abandoned temp files causing problems.
Check in the Documents and Settings, Username, Local Settings, Temp folder.
When all applications are closed, the temp folder should be empty: if it
isn't, delete everything and then test again.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, please come back and let us know the
versions of Office and Windows with servicepack levels for further
assistance.

Found months of junk in my Temp file so deleted the lot.
I'll see if the problem recurs as I work.

I hope that's it. I wish I had a cent for every abandoned temp file residing
on all computers: I'd make Bill G look a pauper!
