Word keeps freezing my PC when I use it.

When I try using word my PC keeps freezing. I have updated Word with the
latest updates. It still freezes my PC when I try using it. I do not seem
to be having this problem with any other recent progroams. I just in stalled
Windows XP and have also updated to M.S. Office 2003. However, this problem
was also present before the upgrade. When I installed Windows XP I
partitioned my hard drive. This should have erased any previous problems.
Any suggestions?
