Word 2000, SP3:
I am trying to record a macro which, among other things, resizes a
picture (actually a link to an Excel Sheet, with field code option
\p) and also specifies horizontal centering for the picture object.
With the macro recorder running ... when I get onto the Format Object
window, Layout tab ... my keyboard shortcuts don't work. That means I
cannot use Alt-F to select "in front of text" ... which I need to do
to enable the "center" formatting button.
Any ideas why the keyboard shortcuts don't work while I'm recording
the macro??? Or an alternative way for me to specify this command
in the macro?
btw, when I do the same keystrokes when the macro recorder is NOT
running, Word lets me. But if the macro recorder is recording then I
just get that infuriating <ding> every time I hit Alt-anything (on
that one tab).
Thanks for your help.
