word licencing

I recently purchased Word for mac to use on my g4 with os X at work.
I am interested in loading Word onto my kids imac. What sort of licencing
alterations do I need to address. I bought my software from Amazon.com.
Do I have to go through them?
I guess its because MS is so big, but navigating the MS sites seems
archaically cumbersome. Not to offend, I'm just not very experienced with it.

Per your license, you're allowed to put Office/Word v.X on one desktop
and one laptop for your "exclusive use". So you'll need another license
to put it on the iMac, which means purchasing another physical copy. If
your children are students, buying the Office Student/Teacher edition
now (list:US$149) will, at least in the US, get you a copy of Office
2004 for the cost of S&H when it's released in the spring.

You can purchase from anyone. Volume licensing doesn't kick in until you
need 5 copies or more.
