Word links to Excel

Follow up to Alan question helpfully answered by Lane Fredborg 25/5/2008.

I have a document with about 75 links to a frequently updated excel file
that I use for writing reports.

Can I update the source of all the links at once when I move the file to
another machine or directory. If I could delete the full path from the link
that would solve the problem as I can move the excel chart at the same time.

Hi John,

Deleting the paths from the LINK fields won't work.

However, since your desire to do that suggests the document and the Excel files are kept in the same folder, see the maco attached
