Word locks up when I hit 'delete' or arrow keys

Lately, when I am in the middle of making a document, when I hit the left
arrow key, or the delete key, my entire PC locks up. It doesn't happen every
time, but it happens a significant amount of the time. I have to restart my
PC to get past this.

Does anybody know how to resolve this ?
