Word Macro error always on launch...

Everytime I launch Work 2003 or open a new file or start a new file, a
prompt comes up saying funtion I am attampting to run is a macro or needs
macro support. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing. Used to
work just fine.

I typically have to hit cancel to 3 of the same error prompts to even get
into Word. Only plug-in it seems is PDF maker.

Any ideas on how to get Word back to normal? I have set secruity to high and
low and back again with no effect.

Adobe? Which version? What happens if you open Word in Safe Mode: from
Start, Run type in

winword /a

and press enter. Do you get any opening errors now?
