Word macro problem

Whenever I try to execute a macro in word I receive the
following error. "The Macro cannot be found or has been
disabled because of your security settings"

Please help!

How do you try to execute the macro? Using the run macro command? Keyboard
shortcut? Custom button or menu item? I've gotten the message you have when
I have a toolbar or shortcut in one template trying to run a macro in
another template that isn't available when I click on the toolbar button.
Not available can include moving to a different module in the same template.
